This workshop provides knowledge on the tools and techniques by which institutions can
assess and compare their ability to develop, establish and support the sustainable e-learning.
The basic idea is that the ability of an institution to be effective in any particular field of work
depends on their ability to engage in high quality processes, which are reproducible and
capable of being extended and supported by increasing demand.
This workshop provides a detailed description of the processes and practices that underpin
the electronic modeling methodology (EMM) (Marshall and Mitchell, 2004). This document is
divided into several sections, corresponding to the areas of the EMM process:
1. Learning,
2. Development,
3. Support,
4. Evaluation and
5. Organization.
Within these sections, individual processes are described along with a review of the evidence
supporting their involvement in EMM.
